Actually you can drive on those blocks.
Sometimes when I flew off a ramp or make a huge jump, I end up in strange places.

In fact I found very handy shortcuts this way, so I know this is possible.

All we can do is hoping and sending petitions.

DLC would be very difficult to do as it would require the wii to recode the game disk and im 99.99% percent sure it can't do that.

maybe this will be in a future mario kart

Can't Nintendo use the Mario Kart Channel or WiiWare Channel?

Or like Rockband buy DLC discs from stores.

MK Wii can go online, so why not downloadable content.

Because the Wii's memory storage is too small, it would take up more blocks for extra stuff. The Wii is just mostly CD based and doesn't have a HDD.

I'd design all of the Mario kart 64 corses, because the new ones suck

the wiis memory isn't that small, considering how much memory an average game takes, the wii's memory is pretty good, it can hold some extra data.

i never thought about it, but if it was programmed you could have DLC from the MK channel

i really don't think the new courses "suck" colten. thats kinda of a preferance thing. it would be cool to remake the old ones though

So there is a possibly that it can happen, yahoooo!!!!
I think it is essential for MK Wii to have DLC, since we have to wait untill the next console arrives.

Most of MK Wii circuits are obstacle based and N64 circuits are more about good driving.
It is a taste thing, I agree.

Of course are from the N64 version on the tracks longer, since you race for 3 laps instead of 5 like in the SNES version.
