Yes
1.Gave full immunity of all attacks(just like the star)
2.It can steal items
3.It can go through other players

So pretty much it was better then any item in the game.

But they removed it because it was over powered because of many new items that you can avoid(Blue shell, Blue shell after shock, Giant shroom, Star, Bomb-bob)
