Yeah, I figured it out the Hard way, When you Turn off your Wii while in Online Play, You get 2 Loses, and the Person who didn't gets 2 Wins.

That connection lost, that doesnt mean he actually turn it off. It could of just lag.

I haven't played any Wii WiFi games yet, but that sounds great! =O

But theres a problem, since it doesn't count if the internet actually fails, someone could just pause the game and go unplug the router/internetz cord.

Clearing this up with the help of Toadsiliwrath and Budge007, who have been playing online for months in Australia:
