Mario Strikers Charged Winter Tournament

Begins: Tuesday, December 18th!

Welcome to the Winter MSC Tourny! After a loooong wait, it has finally begun. Since the last Tournament didn't work out so well due to inactivity, I have eliminated that problem. This tourny will be more unique and different from all of the others, and how exactly? We will have four different sides of the tourny; The Challenge Tourny, the Duo Tourny (Teams), the Main Tourny, and the Deking Tourny. These different modes of the tourny will be more extraordinary and exquisite than just a normal tournament. Each tourny is self-explanatory, but just in case you don't know what they are, here are the explanations:

-{The Main Tournament}-: The Main Tourny is just the simple & laid-back tournament. Just play the game as you are playing an ordinary ranked match on Wi-Fi. Series of 3 games, out of 3 minutes. Sit back and have fun!

-{The Challenge Tournament}-: This tournament is newer to the system, but in this case, more unique. Certain cheats will be activated on certain rounds during the tourny. For example, Round 1 will have the cheats "High Voltage" on, as in if you touch the wall, you shall be electrocuted, making scoring more difficult. Rules are a bit different, its First to 10, out of 3 games. Different rounds call for different activated cheats.

*If you don't have the cheat, I will explain how to unlock this cheat by doing a special Strikers Challenge.*

-{The Duo Tournament}-: This is the Tournament I bet you all have been waiting for! The epic Duo Tournament! You will have a guest sign on with you, either a sibling or a good friend. In this case, if your friend is your partner in the tournament, make sure they are able to devote their time to playing the game with you when your match is revealed. If they cannot make it, you can have a replacement come in, then theres no problem at all. If they somehow cannot make it, then you will be disqualified.

-{The Deking Tournament}-: For thoes who like to play a little dirty, heres the perfect chance to show off all of that hidden evil. In this Tournament, any kind of play is allowed (not meaning cheats). You can deke as much as your heart's desire without any complaints. Simple no? Go ahead, run wild! Go crazy! Create some new moves! Go for it!

Tournament Rules:

Main Rules

1. There shall be no Goalie Camping whatsoever. This is for obvious reasons, but if you must know, it is the cheapest tactic anyone could do in MSC, thats why it is banned here.

2. Dry Bones / Boo deking may be your only way to score, but due to all the complaints I've heard from people, you are limited to doing it only 3 times per game. That includes the lobbing tricks. Sorry, but if you want to do that kind of stuff, join the Deking Tourny.

3. No cheats are to be activated.

4. As Ranked matches go, these shall be the same. Three minutes & best out of three games.

Challenging Rules

1. Different rounds require different activated cheats. It is mandatory for the host to have the cheats on and unlocked.

2. Unlimited tricks! Go ahead and do any style of lobbing you want, but deking is also banned in this tournament.

3. This tournament is "First To 10" instead of the original three minutes. It still has the Best out of three series however.

4. Different Rounds will also call for different sidekicks. Since this is named the Challenge Tourny, it will be challenging. For example, one round may call for "All Strength Sidekicks" with the "Easy Skillshots" cheat on. You may pick either Birdo, Hammer Bro, or Monty Mole. Mix it up, make it exciting! But make it to your advantage

1. This is just the same as the Main Tourny, three minutes & best out of three series.

2. Deking prohibited.

3. Cheats disabled.

Deking Rules

1. Basically, anything goes. There are no rules here except no goalie camping & cheats.

One question, if your partner for the Duo Tourney is a user here on fc, they can't enter the Duo Tourney, right?

Well, the only way to have a partner is if they're right there next to you For instance, you and your brother would make a great team. You two would enter in, but he doesnt have to be a member. But if they are a user here, like MetaKnights brother is a user here, then they can still enter in.
