I was playing on WiFi just about 30 minutes ago until I got this beginner ... I wanted it to be a bit more interesting, so I tested out some silly moves. What I discovered just buzzed in my mind
Most of you know these lobbing moves, like running down the field while holding Z, then releasing it, shooting the ball down the field into the goal without the goalie doing a single thing. When I tested that out on this one guy, I kept pressing B while the ball was midair with Toad and he literally jumped 10 feet into the air and smacked it directly into the goal.
And the goalie didnt even do a thing. That was so impressive that the guy disconnected on me xD
I wanted to test it out some more, so I went to set up a match and put on the cheats "Always White Ball" and "Accelerator Items". This gave me all mushrooms / stars and the ball was always white, so I dont have to always charge it up. While doing that trick mentioned above, I tested out some other tricks. Heres one that impressed me:
When you use Toad's Skillshot "Fire Meteor", the goalie wont catch the ball. So ... if you happen to hold Z and shoot the ball in, the goalie will just smack it away. But, if your right there when he smacks it away, you have a automatic goal awaiting you! He'll be so slow to try and block it, so its easy to pull off. To get there in time, what I did was shoot the ball (+ Z), to make it go in the air, and that gave me enough time to use a mushroom and run up to him, he smacks it away, you just press B and your person will smash it right into the goal. This works with any Balanced or Playmaker. If you want a live example, tell me and I will add your code or something ;D
I have MANY others, but I just want to figure them out to the last detail. So I will update this later.
