My Cheap Losses... - 01-27-2008

I usually have a pretty good record every season that goes by, most of the time under 10 losses. This season (and a few others) have been the worst for me. I can take thoes dekers now, and I can enialate them completely, but I sometimes slip up and they win by a goal or two, but the point of this thread is because Nintendo made some cheap ways to give you losses . My Wii said "An error has occured, please turn off the system" and that gives me a loss!? How is that my fault!? Next thing you know, I search again, I get a beginner and I end up losing by a message saying "Cannot read the disc. Please take out and reinsert the game disc". That to me is the lamest reason to give someone a loss... I have gotten five losses almost every season due to my stupid disc always being misread Has this happened to anyone else? And what can I use to actually clean the dang disc? -_-

The best thing to use is a piece of cloth, like the ones used to clean fragile things like handheld screens and glass. If you don't have one, then use a washrag that is VERY soft.
Slightly dampen it, and gently wipe the disc in a curved motion.
Let the disc air-dry for a minute, and try to play it. It should work.

Sounds quite annoying Naruto26. However, it has never happened to me before therefore, my disc is probably in good condition, Woohoo!!!

Re: My Cheap Losses... - 01-30-2008

I now have 11 losses -_- In two days. Now, 4 of thoes losses came from me truly losing- the other 7 came from the stupid disc. :/ I am now no longer playing Ranked MSC games. If you want to face me, send me a pager or a PM. Only friend matches I will be playing until I get this disc cleaned.

Hmm, I read somewhere that you should not clean in a circular motion, but instead cleaning it by going from the inside out. I could be wrong, though.
