Gah... This game, not for me anymore...

Well, I just started to play this game again since I was really good last year.

Okay, so I play this game and all I face is Rank 90-1.
So, I play these guys and let me tell you.
They are so hard.
They don't even have skills.
They do techniques such as Hitting the ball on the Wall and Confusing the Goalie, then hitting it in.

Okay, so I face the number 8th guy and this guy doesn't even kick the ball.
All he did was Teleport into the Goal, and use the Z button to tap the ball forward at a right angle making it score everytime...

I liked it when people didn't know how to do that...
I knew the trick for along time, like a month after the game came out, but I never knew it can ever spread like this.
This game is too cheap now. I thought I was going to play again, but now... I'm never going to play it. Maybe if I want a game, I might as well sell it. Besides, barely anyone plays...

Yup, exactly why I quit. Well, that and my partner in crime didn't want to play the game with me anymore. When I played I still faced a lot of these kind of people.
I guess, if you can't beat 'em join 'em. Nah, not really good sportsmanship that way.
Well, doesn't matter now I guess. Neither of us play anymore.

I know all these techniques, where to chip the ball onto the wall and stuff...

But now I see how unfair it is. The game is way to cheap. Like I said :C

I wanted to play it again really bad, so I searched my house for 1 hour trying to find it.
Finally I found it... And a big disappointment...

Ya, I tried learning that stuff, but I find it really unfair. Hopefully Ninty will fix these trick shots in the next game like they did to snaking in MKWii.

It's really not that hard to do tricks yourself once you master the timing. And in addition, it's not even that hard to intercept provided you don't move around like an idiot who has no concern for his defense.

It's in fact the other way around, these people are more skilled than you and have adapted to the game. You on the other hand are unable to understand the problem and run away from it instead of learning how to deal with it.

Also, I would like to mention that most pros can play without tricks and still probably beat the crap out of you. :)

PS: Sorry if I sound like an ass, but I have to get my point across.

Well, i was pretty good at the game for a time, but i dont play anymore for the same reasons. I'll be beating some high ranked guy, then he starts pulling the cheezy crap out. I dont sit in front of the tv all day hours on end and practice cheap tricks. I have a life, a job, and a family. All this cheap stuff ruined what was a fun game for me, so I dont play it anymore either. Those same jokers doing that crap prolly get the stuffing beat out of them on fifa

yea, after i figured that i wasnt going to be able to play anyone tht was anywhere near my level of skill online anymore i just sold the game... (its not that i'm a sore loser... its just i would rather play a game that is close than a game that is a total blowout)

Countering tricks is as easy as performing them.
All you need to do is practice. They are a lot of good shooters out there that can beat the crap out of tricksters. I myself am probably one of the best Mario Striker players on the site and I shoot/trick. My team consists of Diddy Kong, Boo, Boo, Hammer Bros right now. I'm not a noob, I don't jump over the goalie or boo-deke. I use advanced moves (tricks) with a combos of shooting when the ball is fully charged. Sorry mate, but you're absence from the game made you fall behind.
