to be honest, i think the show was ruined after the johto journies series. Up until then i loved it, but after that it was pretty poor

I proudly signed it. Man, Pokemon used to be awesome. I remember setting my alarm to wake up every Saturday morning, and watch it. But now... oh God, the show makes me cry.

Heck, even if you don't like the anime anymore, just do it for the sake of the original cast (in the hopes that our petition will force Pokemon USA to get the original cast back). Original voice actors are always better than replacements.

In this case, the replacements were said to be "sound alikes" by Lawrence Neves, aka, the Editorial Director for Pokemon USA. But of course the new VAs sound nothing like the original cast. Therefore, Pokemon USA made a huge mistaking by replacing the original cast in the first place, and we (SOVA) are gonna make sure that we get the original cast back.

However, we can't do this without everyone's help. We still need a lot more signatures, so I'm hoping that all the people who haven't signed our petition will agree to lend us a helping hand (if not to save the Pokemon dub, then at least, for the original voice actors who were wrongfully replaced by Pokemon USA).

Speaking of the original cast, part of the reason why I love the 4Kids dub of Pokemon so much is because the show is SO nostalgic. Watching Pokemon can really take you back. Of course, this is coming from someone who really loves the 4Kids dub of Pokemon. I've seen every episode from seasons 1 through 8. And I've seen most episodes on their original air date on KidsWB. On top of this, I've seen most episodes of the 4Kids dub, hundreds of times in reruns (I'm a rerun fanatic when it comes to watching the 4Kids dub). XD

However, when Pokemon USA started dubbing the show in 2006, and they replaced the VAs, they changed the characters on the show completely. Ash, Brock, and Team Rocket are no longer who they used to be thanks to Pokemon USA deciding to use a whole new cast for no reason at all. And in doing so, the quality of the voice acting on Pokemon has dropped to the point where long-time fans have stopped watching the show completely. This gives long-time fans such as myself all the more reason to voice our concerns to Pokemon USA. They've changed the voice actors, they've changed the characters, and ultimately - they have changed a wonderful show that I grew up watching. And I'll tell you one thing, I'm not gonna let Pokemon USA get away with taking these things (the characters, and the show itself) away from us. Come on guys, we're not gonna let this company take the original voice cast away from us! It's time to show Pokemon USA that the fans care deeply about the original voice actors and the quality of the show!
