No, in reality, we're just a bunch of fans fighting for the chance that the original VAs should've had, back when the show changed dubbing companies. Because, back in 2006 when Pokemon USA began dubbing the show, the original cast should've been approached with an offer to work on season 9, Battle Frontier. The original voice actors had no contract issues or anything, because they were freelance. All Pokemon USA had to do was give them a chance to work on the show, but they didn't. Unfortunately, the company decided to screw the fans over and just replace the original voice actors for no reason whatsoever.

In fact, The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon (the 10th anniversary special) proves what a horrible mistake the voice actor replacement was in the first place. What's weird is that Pokemon USA actually redubbed that special, but they still used the new voice actors in the redub. And they even changed Ash's voice again, by giving him ANOTHER new voice actor. Apparently, the company didn't learn its lesson back then.

But anyway, once this petition gets enough signatures, they will definitely find out how much the fans want the original cast back. ^^

Of course, you have to consider that the original voice actors are human too, so they may not want to continue the pokemon project. I know, it's a harsh reality. :/

Um, excuse me, but we have been in close contact with the original voice actors for quite sometime now....

And believe me when I say this, the original cast still wants to return to Pokemon, very much so.

I mean, Veronica Taylor is most famous for having voiced Ash. She really loved voicing him on the 4Kids dub! Seriously, why WOULDN'T she want to voice her favorite character again, after having voiced him for 8 years? And I should know just how much Veronica loves Ash, considering I have received emails from her, both during and after the VA switch took place.

And I also have friends who have been in contact with Rachael, Maddie, and Eric, too.

Anyway, hypothetically speaking, if the original cast were offered the chance to regain their roles today, they would return to the show in a heartbeat.
