The iPod is all I have known so I'm going with that. And an iPod IS an MP3 player.

It is an MP3 player, but it also can watch Videos and store photos. MP3's can't do that. And also play some games D:

Some can. I know this guy from my old school with a "Creative Zen". Its an MP3 player that can also play videos and act as an external harddrive (just like an iPod). I'll bet it was cheaper than a fellow 30gb iPod.

Mp3 is a much more widely used format. Also, Mp3 players are just downright cheaper. Since I usually rip my songs from a CD, all that iTunes nonsense doesn't appeal to me. AJ, I didn't know that you were an Apple tart.
