>_>...Well, gee, I guess that's your opinion, but I kind of agree with a lot of people in saying that those films (especially Fellowship of the Ring) were some of the most refined film-making in the past few decades. Admittedly, I can understand why you might find it boring, but I was always into the plot, so every line was relevant. If you're no fan of the concepts, I can actually see why you don't like it at all, since the entire series thrives on its base plotline. But...still, didn't they look nice? D:
I agree with ShashiJapan, though. The Mist wasn't bad (although, that preacher lady annoyed the hell out of me), and yeah, any Sci-Fi produced movie is just god-awful. The only good thing about Sci-Fi now is Battlestar Galactica (which is extremely good...the old one from the 80s is super crappy, though), and that's going to end in 8 weeks. I think Sci-Fi might just end up like a porn channel without anything sexually explicit; it'll just have the horrendous movies.
EDIT: I actually like Wedding Crashers. It's a good comedy movie that doesn't appeal to the slapstick formula that Family Guy uses (and that everyone has fallen in love with, for some reason). The jokes, while too raunchy sometimes, are genuine and well-written.
You people should all go watch The Royal Tenenbaums. I love that movie; it's hilarious, and it's really good Wes Anderson at the same time.
