You know, they could actually make a GOOD movie, if it was rated PG 13 (at least, but not R... that would be a bit much) and there were things that attracted adults too, like and actual plot, (have it based on Earth, not all computer animated but sort of like the way Transformers was, half and half) And have some emotional parts, and have some real humor in it. See what they did with children's toys; Transformers? Well, if they can make a young toy into a movie that everyone likes, with lots of action etc. I'm sure they could turn a hedgehog into a good movie.
THEATRICAL; NOT DIRECT TO CRAP.
Something that the people will be willing to pay for, and come out of the movie theatre and actually NOT want a refund. Like I felt after I saw the Quantum of Solace. Boom.
If it's direct to crap, there's no point in making it. If we want crap for our spinning metal disc players, we can buy a spinning metal disc with Sonic X episodes on it, or worse, AoStH.
Come on, STH has such good potential for a great movie, kind of like the
Wii did. We don't want SEGA to ruin it. Much like Nintendo did to the
Wii with shovelware and crappy games.
Good ideas are not to be kept in bed, sleeping in until after they are of any use. They are to be woken up by a loud, annoying alarm clock the second they're needed.
That was the worst metaphor ever.
