Maybe he's has one of dem' jumping spiders abilities, but in Spiderman's case, he can jump 100x higher than those spiders? Possibly causing him to appear that he could be gliding or flying in the air?

I think that was just a really high jump. And the idiot animators decide to put his arms out in front so he does the Superman flying pose.

Kinda hard to keep that point when in that cartoon they recycled their character models so spiderman is technically flying cause its a flying pose meant for flying.

I think this is how Spiderman's moveset in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 was made
