Favorite Style?

In your own opinion, which rapper that you listen to has the best style? Right now, I'll have to say Lil Wayne, his style is very abstract and uses many complex metaphors and similes. Also, I love the fact that one line heavily depends on the next, leaving you wanting more. Also, I'd have to say Biggie, because he had one of the greatest vocabularies in a rapper I've ever seen. What about you guys?

What do you mean by Biggie having "the biggest vocabulary"?

I go with Lupe Fiasco. I haven't listened to much of music but from what I've heard, songs about ganging, getting money, getting lots of "women" are rare. And words like "hoe" and such I've rarely heard.

Lupe's flow is always good, throughout the song, and in terms of lyrics, there's no comparison to any other rapper.

Weezy's raps focus on punchlines, and that's it. They're usually dope, but the rest of the lyrics are stereotypically mainstream.

The Game's lyrics/flow really impresses me, however, I don't really like his representation, in terms of what he raps about. However, "My Life" is great.

Exactly. You know it as soon as you listen to rap on the radio or BET.

I like Psyche Origami, Public Enemy, Nujabes, Asheru, Cyne, Ice Cube(old school) and Madvillain for rhythmic style and intellect mainly.

Nujabes is another rapper I like as well, he said some things that just blew me out of the water. His style is one of the more educated out there, as he uses some things that you wouldn't expect some rappers out there to do, like how he actually made a reference to Flowers For Algernon (great book).

@Biggie, at the time period, Biggie had a little more flash than most rappers cared to show at all. This, sometimes, could be seen in his choice of words. If you listen to a lot of his stuff, you notice it after a while.
