    THE GALLERY OF CUSTOM MADE MAPS!

    Introduction

    - Welcome all to my gallery of custom maps I created myself using programs and software's specially designed for different type of games. I have created many types of maps with many different themes including Egyptian, space, medieval, Gothic and many more with many different twists. I'd like you all to have a tour and gaze upon the maps I made and give me some feedback on how they look to you and what could be more improved in your opinion.

    Rules

    - In my gallery I have set some rules specifically for you all to follow. If any of these rules are broken, you will be given a warning and if it happens continuously, then you will automatically be banned from the gallery and will be given negative karma for not following them.

    1. When giving feedback, do not be rude and say ''This map is crap I can make one better than you'' or anything else which may be rude or offend me in anyway

    2. Advertising or giving away any of my work without my permission will not be tolerated.

    3. Arguing or any sort of trouble is not allowed

    4. Spamming/Flamming is strictly forbidden

    Custom Map #1: The City of Per-Ramses



    Map Info

    - An Egyptian based map created on the software GtK Radient v2.3 was released just a week ago. It's golden complex gives the map a shiny elegant look making it a ''Golden'' wonder. It's hallways where crafted to perfection as they were first designed by pen & paper and later then designed by using Complex lines and a wall base to make it look 3D. On the outside, the map is surrounded by a nice sandy beach but you can't have access to the beach since the map limit exceeded by 5.4m which will make the map lag and may crash during Gameplay. I've also added a new feature which is the triangular portals which can transport you around the map instead of running around looking for places to explore. It's large pillars are best for hiding behind your enemies and are also good for a surprise shock attack.

    Custom Map #2: Lost At Sea



    Map Info

    - Next we have a underwater map based in an abandoned submarine which had been lost for hundreds of years but found recently by researchers. It's round curves that have been finely bruhsed with 4.1 brushes can confuse opponents and lead them into the wrong path which makes it easier to capture your opponents. Its ambient sounds are the sound of dripping water like from the tap and it just matches the map atmosphere giving it a ''Wet'' affect. The submarine in the main hallway was created by using fix on shapes and those shapes are circles and ovals and are then later brushed and textured with submarine effects. Pipes and tunnels lead to a secret area which many can not find so that has been perfectly hidden

    Custom Map #3: Space Invaders N Junk



    Map Info

    - Thridly we have a space map based on Atari's Space Invaders. This map was specially built for the ''20mx Brush Contest'' and this map actually won 1st place and was named ''Best Gimmick Map Of The Month'' and was put on the front page of the ..:Lvl World website. It's based in an empty atmosphere surrounded by falling rocks and floating asteroids. It's curvy platforms where specially built for running so when opponents run they go at an amazing speed. The platforms also move automatically since I placed an ''Action'' file in the platform which makes the platform move. Right in the middle of the map is Planet Earth and I created that by getting an image from Google and saving it onto my Hard Drive. I then open my software and open the image using it and place it onto my template and brush it with cartoony effects which makes it look animated.

    Custom Map #4: Blood Factory



    Map Info

    - Now I am proud to introduce you all to one of my favorite maps I have created, Blood Factory, a dark factory created with dark textured bricks and dim lighting. This map was entered in the ''Summer 2012 DM Map Contest'' but came 6th place after being called down by 1 vote to be 5th place. It's environment has a very misty twist to it making it a ''Dark'' themed map. The hallways have been designed in a way similar to Unreal Tournament (UT) tunnels which were used in the very first UT game which was UT99. The portals which I have used where from the map ''Q3DM1'' and I got that by copying it and saving it to my map files for Blood Factory. I then changed the color of it and placed it in areas which can lead to high surfaces. The platforms I have created are made of glass. Now the first time I played the map i thought I was walking in the air but I then remembered that it was glass surfaces. I created it from scratch by using a number of objects, shapes, lines & textures.

    make one thats made out of fully water (ocean maybe?) and people go slow mo if you know what i mean

    I actually have created a map that's underwater and I'll post it on here right now :D. Thanks btw and actually I don't but back in the days I did :)

    Custom Map #5: Beneath The Waves

    - What we have here is an underwater facility which is now used for a good tournament arena for those who want to gain the Q3 Arena Championship. The blue, clear water blends in with the map perfectly since I added some mystic water features and creatures that lure outside the map. The floors in the hallways are quite weird I have to admit because I couldn't find a good flooring to go with the map so I used a Bubble Flooring. For the stairs I picked carefully on what design I should do them. So I used a step ladder type stair because opponents do run quite fast so I made it a stress free stair case. I did have trouble creating the main hallway because the doors and floors around it were very difficult to make so I managed to program it by using a ready made template from another map. Eventually I did it and added some Ambient Sounds to go with the map.

    Custom Map #6: Terminatria



    Map Info

    - Next up I'd like to present to you one of the most detailed maps I have ever made. Ladies and gentlemen I bring you Terminatria, A futuristic styled space map which has a very large space to roam and camp. I created this map a year ago and released it on my birthday which is 26 September. I created this map using a spare template from another map which was already saved on the system. I took the template files and placed them into a single package of my own and named the file ''terminatria.pk3. PK3 stands for ''Package'' which means at the end of every map you make, you have to make a personal ''PK3'' file so it is active in the game and works. I carved the map with curves using my ''Cellshader'' tool which is basically used to smooth surfaces and make curves because curves makes the map look very realistic. I also added some billboards which move so in other words I added my own ''GIF'' files in the map so the billboards will move. I had to transfer the ''GIF's''. by using an SD Card and/or a USB stick.
