Ahhh now i can tell what the sprite is. Oh and btw the colour before you used the b&w gradient map was secks <3 . Ill post a outcome when i finish up

This is actualy my second one. I got near the end of the tut and mu photoshop crashed when i started smudging. (It has done this in the past with smudging and something else) So i had to start again. This time i left all smudging out. which is why the background is so dark and bare. i tried making up for it with more c4d's though xD. But after i saved everything i tried adding some smudging and surprise surprise it crashed again ¬_¬ idk what is wrong with my photoshop but here is what i got anyway. Soryy i wasnt able to follow some major points xD.

Great results man! Yeah, if you get the smudging tool to work, I know that your results would be much better. On the first result, you could do without the text at the top.

As for the second result, I'd move the scan lines on the left ALL the way to the left up against the border. Text is great, and the 'Displace' filter looks great with the sprite.

I was bored and i got smudging working on photoshop again so i thought id try again following the whole thing.

Not bad scott. Try to get a focal (lighting helps), and it could use some flow.

well at first i dint know what a psd was then my computer shuts down and i had to start over then i asked my friend and i only had one psd and it was from when i attempted link64's corruption is power tutorial so i was so confused, but now i get it and im sticking with photoshop from now on gimp sucks
