My first Roy drawing... Please comment!

Keep in mind that this thread is over a year old. I am a far better artist - this was just one of my firsts.

Well, thats my first attempt at a drawing of roy as seen on SSBM. Please remember that when judging, this is my first attempt. I would also appreciate additional comments. If you don't like it, just tell me what I need to change next time. Thank you. And the only real flaw that I see are the eyes. And thats only because my pencil wouldnt erease when I made a mistake.

Cool picture. It has a few bad parts but it is your first attempt at Roy. I myself have not drawn Roy yet.

Awesome work, better then my first drawings for sure. I'd say the big things to practice are eyes and hands, (They give me a lot of trouble too).

next time use color pencil could've came out better.

It definitely is a work in progress, and I also see a lot of potential in the way your draw if this is a first attempt, it was done quite alright. What I would suggest is lightly sketch out the drawing first, that way if you make a mistake it would be much easier to erase.

Also try to proportion the legs so that it doesn't look like he's got short stubby legs and a long upper body. All in all, it's still quite good for a first attempt.

o.o not bad for a first time i draw too and drawing the facial expressions,eyes,hands are a killer >_< but i pratice and mabye i should post my work.

not badd but it definitely does not like the real thing. his hand, head, face, and hair are the most noticeable flaws to me. try and fix those next time. still, kudos for the attempt

Like you said the eyes are not so good but other than that Roy is looking good
