Great tut Jamez! Your Mario sigs are my favorite, I'm gonna try this in GIMP (:(try:() hopefully it will work out.

Apart from the Text and Photo Filter, you probably could.

But yeah, it's a great tut, really easy to follow. Might give it a go when I have some time :D.

I can do the Text thing but not the Photo Filter but theres my outcome:D (I just don't have a really bold font)
Edit:I also think I didn't put the opacity on the Orange Yellow gradient map low enough.

Looks pretty nice =]

I think that the second one looks better, the only think that I would advise is sharpening. =P

Other than that, its good. =]
