Hi everyone, I got into GIMP about a month ago. I now am pretty good and I now take requests. I made this because a lot of people like my signatures and request for one. Here they are. I also make avatars and you can request those too. They are all in order from newest to oldest. I now do mostly stocks because you can work with them better.

Please post tips, comments, and requests here.

I don't know how to make signatures but..

Try using a tut for the text and blending.

Art class is alot different to grapics though =P.

I can tell your using fractuals so ill just give you a tip and say to stop using them. They are very messy and hard to use in sigs. Effects c4ds are alot better.

My advice to you: Stop covering your render/focal point with parts of your background/c4ds/fractuals. Always keep you focal clear of your effects or other parts of your sigs. In the fma and kanden one you covered up parts of the render with the fractual or c4d.

Blend your renders in. By this i dont mean cover them with effects like you did with your fractuals. but use adjustment layers so the render starts to match your background abit better. And slightly erase parts of it into the background. If you see in your kirby one it just looks like you put a render over a bunch of fractuals.

Read up on some gimp tutorials, learn how to use it properly and improve =P

Your right, I do use fractuals. For the Kirby one I meant to put it on top for an anime/cartoon feel. Thanks for the advice. After all your the site expert on this stuff

umm, srry but i dont understand any of this stuff... but still i like the sig furret made and so i'm using it ^.^ i draw (and good too) but i dont really do graphics

I just added lots of texts and over 1000 brushes. I got a script with color editing, blurring, evrything u can think of. It's now like photoshop in the means of features. I'm still getting used to it though.

So, expect major improvement in my signatures/avatars.

1000 brushes? Haha, I rarely use brushes. To me, the only uses for brushes are clip masking and smudging... and not much of anything else.

BTW, I couldn't have said what Link64 said any better myself. He pretty much summed everything up. :P
