It's that time of year guys. The time of year when I go back to my homeland for the summer to spend time with the family that I never see here in the States.

I really wish that I could be on FC there, but I have no computer or internet. I might occasionally check in an internet cafe, but for the most part, I'll be gone. Now this is not a good bye so I don't want to make it dramatic.

Today I have been all but happy. From the moment that I woke up to this very moment, writing this blog entry, I have felt something wrong. I don't really know what it is. I guess it is just that my life so far has been a miserable failure in the eyes of those around me and I am constantly looked upon as a failure. I may not be good at school, I may have made mistakes, but that does not mean that I am not a good person. If a friend needs something, I do it. I love to help out everyone else.

Here is the story behind why I wanted a name change.

I joined this site 2 years ago and obviously, I have matured. I found that Superperfex was immature and made me sound like I was 11. So I wanted to open myself a bit more with the community. I want people to be calling me with my real name. But since John was already taken, I had another idea.

I'm Greek, and my Greek name is Yanni. A few people already were calling me that, so here I am.
