Man I loved your Fr'ndcoda history.
but you're missing me in there. xD
A mysterious Fr'ndcoda lone knight with two sword one old and rusty the other one shining blue as the sky.
I guarentee someone's going to try and plagurise this. I can't give this to you in a PM so I'm going to put this in your profile message thing. It said I couldn't give it to you in a PM because it has too many characters. I have a thread, check when they posted it and then check the date on the thread I posted just now. If their's is after my mine then they're plagurising.
---------- Super Mario 64 DS: Game Review.
Super Mario 64 DS Covers:
-Developed by: Nintendo
-Publisher: Nintendo
-Platform: Nintendo DS
-Release date: November 21, 2004
-Genre:
-Rating: E
Players: It’s a multiplayer game that has a “capture the flag” style in it.
Summary:
It all starts out with Mario being invited by princess toadstool, so he journey’s to the castle followed by his brother Luigi and his rival Wario. They get to the castle and mysteriously disappear from site leaving Yoshi to figure out how to get them back. Yoshi, locked out, has to catch a rabbit that has a key to get in the castle. Once he gets in, he discovers that Bowser and his goons have taken over the castle. Yoshi must find his friends and get their help and adventure the castle trying to bring back the princess.
Longevity:
The game itself has a good story mode but many complain on how short and easy it is. The story mode doesn’t take long to finish if you play for at least three hours a day. At the rate of that kind of playing you’d be able to finish the game in four or five days from the day you got it. Many don’t like to play it again unless they want to play the story mode again by creating a new file. But the game is worth it.
Graphics:
The graphic have a great look on to them looking quite similar to the characters in the previous Super Mario on the Nintendo 64. Using only of consisting polygons that are reshaped into the characters of a game that came out several decades ago. The mushroom kingdom is quite impressive towards the players of the game and so is the resident Mario. The shapes that they used to form the stages of characters and of course the characters themselves make them look completely 3D in this particular game for some reason. The classic difficulties changes the stages with more complicated patterns in them using all different types of shapes and size available to them. Super Mario 64 DS has been thought of an improvement for many characters have been completely changed from the other games, their edges have been rounded. If you’ve seen the Chain-Chomp on the first level, you’ll see his teeth are individual and not connected. I personally think, that so far besides the New Super Mario Brothers game, it’s rather a big improvement. For the first Mario DS game that came out.
Gameplay:
This game is a 3D platformer where four different characters are able to play in several different places where they can roam around without a time limit. In those places, you’ll find Bowser’s minions trying to attack you. You’ll also find nice and easy going characters that offer to help you, tell information, or ask for a favor. While you’re doing anything in that course, you’ll find a power star. You can collect these of course, they help advance you through doors and let’s you verse bosses. You earn stars by finding them in courses or you can defeat a boss in battle. While doing so, you can punch, kick, and slide around to help weaken his defenses and you’ll be able to be closer on to getting peach. Once you’ve gotten all the stars (There’s one hundred fifty of them) you’ll get a message from Bowser saying you’ve defeated him. Then at the gate where you have entered, you’ll find the cannon that will shoot you up to Peach’s castle.
You may also use different hats that you have earned all through the courses, you’ll be able to wear them and be able to turn in to the character that wears the hat. You can also get the power flower that allows Mario to start floating, Luigi turns invisible, and Wario becomes made of iron, and Yoshi breathes fire. A Giant mushroom will make the character enormous, and will allow Yoshi, to be able to kick, punch and slide (Which doesn’t allow him to do when he’s normal size.) A Feather of course, allows Mario to start flying just like the super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64.
You know how Yoshi wasn’t able to enter the castle without a key from a rabbit outside? Well, there are seven more rabbit’s inside the castle that each character must get them, the rabbit’s color and location will be changed based off of what character is being used to catch them. After you get a rabbit you obtain a key that unlocks a new mini game to play. Then, there are eight more rabbits that glow, once you caught them all you’ll get provided by a power star.
Sounds:
Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64 was great with great music, but Nintendo’s Super Mario 64 DS was even better. They have great melodies followed along with happy songs and tunes. The characters old voices still do get old after a while, but that’s supposed to be like that. I think that because the game has one of the happiest tunes that I enjoy in it. It’s called “Dire Dire Docks theme.” that’s why I think it’s so great.
Plot and Settings:
The game really takes place in the toadstool castle, but they only showed the whole castle itself to make you get a visual of what the setting is going to be like. Through out the castle, you’ll find paintings and disguised walls that are actually portals that lead to another world where you’ll see Bowser’s goons guarding hidden stars.
Overall Score:
This game is really great in a lot of things, but it’s to easy for some gamers. After you beat it, the game gets very boring. Yet, it’s still recommended to buy.
So, in this area, I will be holding a little fun... event.
Basically, if theres anything you wish you could ask me as a person, or me as a FC Moderator, post it here, and then once everyone's got their questions in, I'll answer each one of them fully in a full blog article.
After this, I will choose the next person to hold 'Ask Away' and then they will do the same.
Ok, seriously, something needs to be said about this.
Lately, I have seen a HUGE decline in the quality of threads.
REALLY BAD STEEP decline.
Usually there is at least one good thread that can get a good descussion going, and sometimes those threads were hard to find, but when you did, it was great to chat, debate and make new friends etc. Which is exactly what a forum is about.
But lately, it's been the same old 'Whos best out of Mario and Captain...
Honestly, its great. I'm getting the old gamer back that I'm pretty sure the Wii took away from me. Excited to play them and really get lost in a storyline and plot. Those are some things that the Wii just can't offer compared to the 360.
Been playing alot of COD4 online, and it is so fun. Especially when your talking to Brad on Skype.
