I got to the Gamekeeper where Francis, Larry, and Phil whom I had seen in awhile were playing Carcassonne: A New World. It is a new Carcassonne title with the same mechanics (pull a random tile, place it somewhere to the board, and/or place a figure) to gain points. I love how the tiles can be added to the scoring board, but dislike the fact that there really is no indicator for players to show they have more than 50 points other than standing their figures upright. Larry won much to Phil's chagrin....

Apparently, Toys R Us is giving away away Dragonite this November. It must be the a timed event in conjunction with something, probably the birthday of their giraffe mascot. I remember the first time I went to one of these event was to get a Mew for my Sapphire game (the employees there would not allow me to get another one for my Emerald nor Fire Red game). A year later or so later, there was the Manaphy distribution followed by a Darkrai event. Why Dragonite was chosen for this year as to oppose...

My venue has Monsterpocalypse product in stock now, and I have no disposable income right now. I blame the government.

While checking out the news; a number of games that I own (would like to own) have numerous expansions coming out next year.

Stone Age
Basically, there are 6 random hut tiles that have powerful abilities once claimed. I am hoping Rio Grande Games brings this out to the states since the only way to get them is to subscribe to a German magazine.

There is a new deck which everyone has referred to as the "X-deck" right now. We can expect...

I was checking out when the release date for the latest expansions for Cutthroat Caverns came out. I noticed that the game will still be coming out; it is just delayed like most other games. The website did have the rules posted online for it, and I am going to have a headache when I play the game with everyone. There will be soo much backstabbing in the game once my copy comes out.

The expansions add relic cards, event cards, and what appears to be NPC (non-playable character)...
