No. One could argue that it was closed because of the "populars", however that isn't likely to be the case. The number of people who would taunt us for posting there was relatively diminutive. Instead, Jack closed it because it had become a large, steaming pile of swearing and flaming.

I'm aware Syrus. However, it lacks the feel and is liable to get closed itself. The main reason for the closing of the original was because no one was willing to stop fighting with on another. I devoted more than 3,000 posts to that thread, and never once have I sworn, flamed, or purposely upset someone. I have as of late frequently looked at the pages of the thread and I'm appalled by the amount of hate in it. Last night, CG and yourself argued for more than 20 pages. That is why it was closed. It became a hate-fest.
