Your nintendo
DS has this long horrendous number, 16 digits I think, and I'm not sure why they do this, but it's kinda like a
fc for your
ds so you can go online. Then your game card has it's
fc, allowing it to access wi-fi and go online and do stuff. What the first part of the message above that your getting means that the two codes don't match, if you noticed when you first set up your wi-fi it matched them together and asked to use this
DS to connect to wi-fi, other wise you will lose uh... well that's the other half of the message.

This is asking you if you want to match up your Fame card's
fc and your
DS's
fc numbers. (like you did the first time, if you don't know what I'm talking about, it's cuz you didn't read the message when you set up your wi-fi the first time) It's also saying that you will lose data involved with your wi-fi. Witch is your
fc. No worries, it gives you a new one, but your friends... well continue reading, I'll explain more.

This is saying that you can keep all your single player stuff. (adventure mode, the movie clips, that sort of stuff.) Then it tells you that you will lose your rivals list, you will have to start over on that. Your friends, different story, you can keep them but they have to add you again. Remember what I said last paragraph... you get a new
fc! You also get to keep your hunters license, which is just your stats. (rank, name, hunter of choice, the statistics. Battles won and all that.) At the end, it's just saying to get rivals back, you have to go play games on wi-fi or use the rival radar.
