I'm new, looking for some FC's! -
11-29-08
I just hooked up my wii to the net via network cable/modem and am looking to share friend codes. I have oranges in my town. My code is 3867-1692-3259. The town is K,ville and my town name is Rick. :)

Welcome!
Hey! Welcome to Friendcodes.com! Here are some threads you should read before you explore the site:
Friendcodes Site Rules and Guidelines -Updated 8/25/08<--- All societies have rules and so do we. Please follow them to keep you and the moderators (people who keep the forum in order) happy. We’re a friendly site with a good reputation. I wouldn’t want to see you warned, banned or infracted just because you couldn’t take a few minutes out of your day to read the rules. =]
Gaming Hubs (a place to conveniently exchange Friendcodes with others):
Gaming hubs are a GREAT feature on this site that allows you to talk to others while exchanging Friendcodes in a very convenient way (having both of your friendcode displayed, a kick and ban option, a feature allowing you to report a hub and a new feature allowing you to make your hub private with a password). Here are some links to help you understand what game hubs are and how to make them: If you need any help with the game hubs, take a look at this thread:
http://www.friendcodes.com/forums/ga...-wifi-hub.html
Wii and DS Hubs.
Friendcodes.com currently has Wii and DS hubs.
Is Friendcodes.com a good choice compared to other forums? [AJ's opinion]
I've been here for over a year and I love the environment this forum provides.
This site is great for the following reasons:
-Friendly people
-Good Debates in topics
-Many events to keep you entertained
-A competitive Wi-Fi gaming site
-Not too many rules and lenient towards the members
-Features (hubs, blogs, awards, profiles, pagers and PMs). Be sure to Explore!
-Good Staff members who take pride in the site
-Great Writing by the staff (A magazine, news articles, gaming guides, reviews, previews and Wi-Fi releases)
and a lot of other reasons too. =P
Exploring the features:
Pagers – Click "Quick Links--->Instant Pager--->The desired username you want to contact.
Private Messaging (PM) - Click UserCP-->Send PM-->Add Title, message and the desired username you want to contact under.
Finding Threads - Click "Forums" and you'll see the forum neatly organized into sub-sections.
Blogs: Here you can edit the options from your blog and here's where you can see recent blogs and post your own.
Profiles: To go to someone else's profile click their username. To go to your own, go "Quick Links" then "My Profile".
Editing Details: To edit your avatar, profiles, Friendcodes, signature, user title or any other gimmick, visit the UserCP and explore. From there it gives SOLID instructions on what to do.
Nintendo related writing: To find review, guides and articles, visit the homepage frequently by clicking "Home", you can also see which of your friends are online and other features.
Adding Friends: Go to a user's profile and click "Befriend [insert username here]"
Arcade: A great place to go to show off your talent or when you're bored. There is a leader board with usernames displayed. Can you be at the top? Who knows! To get there click "Arcade" at the top of the screen.
Find new posts easily: Click "search" then "new posts" to see new topics and posts.
Search: Click search and find whatever you're looking for.
Chat: This is not a place to exchange Friendcodes but a casual place to talk with others. Be sure to read the IRC rules before chatting. If you don't know where to find them ask a Chat OP or Moderator. You should be able to spot it in the "Forum Rules and GuideLines"
Subscribed threads: When you go to your UserCP you will see a bunch of threads you've posted in. It's a good feature that makes it easy to look back at them over and over again. They eventually get clear at a random time of the day but if you are looking for a old thread you posted in you can go "View all subscribed threads", you can also unsubscribe to theads too which is obvious to do.
Settings: Go to your UserCP and click "Edit Options" and "Edit your details" to pick your preferences for certain things.
A heads-up:
Here's how big signatures should be on this site:
Announcement on Signature limits
Chat confuses most new members:
Chat Confusion.
I hope to see you around! If you have any questions contact me by pager or PM. =]
Thanks for joining and I hope you stay active,
AJ.

Hey, and welcome to FC. I hope you enjoy your visit's here and be active. Like every place you'll go to, there's rules either it's on the internet, or it's in a public place. You'll like it here, if you just read this: Friendcodes Site Rules and Guidelines -Updated 8/25/08 and follow everything it says. Also, we also like to have fun in this site because it's a gaming site, so we go on wifi with any member through hubs. If you want to find a hub just go here:The Nintendo WiFi Community. To find more details you should read the faqs:The Nintendo WiFi Community - FAQ and you'll find out more, but if you have any other question feel free to PM me. :]
