If you live in any country other than the US, you might have found that your local copies of No More Heroes were a tad less violent than their American cousins. Suda 51 stated that this was because Europe received the localized Japanese version of the game, which featured ugly black pixels instead of the delightfully entertaining blood spatter the US version was infamous for. As you can imagine, not many people were happy about this.
But at the Tokyo Game Show this year, the sequel was revealed, dubbed No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle. Apart from the fact that it won't release until Q1 2010 at the earliest, nothing much is known about the game. Suda 51 however did go on record by announcing that they intend to release "two versions" on the game. One will feature all the extreme violence and blood, the other will not.

"With No More Heroes 2 we want to please the fans too. I want the European users to be able to experience the extreme version."

There is rumour speculating that WiiMotionPlus will be used in this title, and with 15 months left until it releases, it doesn't seem unlikely.
