Nintendo cites controller as their key to success - 10-19-08

Nintendo has responded to another batch of strong US sales by identifying the Wii's "variety of unique interfaces" as the key to the Nintendo Wii's success. The Wii topped the NPD hardware list for September, again, selling 687,000 units, up 234,000 from August and a year-on-year increase...

You can't use a sixaxis controller as a baseball bat...
I mean you probably could but you'd look like a moron swinging a ps3 controller around.
And now that I think about it you really can't use one because a tilt sensitive controller can't tell if you are making a swinging motion while on the other hand the Wiimote, which has a device that can tell when it's gaining speed, can be used as a bat and to make it more pleasing to the eye it actually looks like a bat, a very small one, but a bat nonetheless.

Wow thats so lame, I would say their success is because of their games not that stupid remote it comes with.

all the good games (Brawl, MKWii, and so on) use the GC/classic contoller because more people like them.
