Square-Enix announced Blood of Bahamut

In the latest issue of the Japanese Shonen-Jump magazine Square-Enix announced the coming of a new RPG for the Nintendo DS named ‘Blood of Bahamut’. The game is set in a world where people built their homes on the backs of colossal sleeping beasts. When these behemoths wake up a huge battle is unleashed.

One of the many enormous creatures is called ‘Giganto’ and all people living atop of it are of the so called Giganto race. You play as a young adventurous lad named Ibuki who lives in a village on the back of Giganto. Together with your friend Yui you’ll have to face the horrendous beasts that appear to awake everywhere.

Blood of Bahamut will include a four player co-op mode. Whether the game will feature an online mode as well is not yet known. The game will be presented at the ‘Jump Festa’ in Japan at the end of year, so hopefully we'll find out more about this game then.
