Nintendo makes peace with the makers of one of Super Mario Brother's biggest ripoffs - 12-09-08

Have you ever heard of the Great Giana Sisters? Best...ripoff...ever. Well, I haven't played the original late 80's Atari or Amiga version, but a little emulator can take you a long way.

The great counterfeit was made in 1987 by one programmer Armin Gessert and published by Rainbow...

If you ask me, I'm going to have to say that...the first game looks like it really was a ripoff to Super Mario Bros., and this new one looks a lot like...a Sonic game. C'mon, remember those fish that attacked you by jumping up from water under bridges in Sonic the Hedgehog 2? That background also sort of looks like Angel Island Zone, the first zone in Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

HELL NO.

I'm more confused as to why in the world would Nintendo lower themselves to giving the creators of...That thing, a license.

Whats worse is that they DARE challenge Mario bros with their BS ripoff...Please.
