Since I love Nintendo, I try contradict them, but really, that's the truth. There's only a few good games on the Wii. Wii needs to get alot of good enjoyable games. Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl did a great job with keeping an audience up, but it's just not enough.

People seem to tend to the other consoles since they have more variety of games. And those games are mostly online, which make the game(s) even more great, and the Wii lacks the online games... a lot. Also the voice speak via online feature.

Wii would have no problems beating the other consoles, but it just needs a little push to start.

Yeah, Nintendo needs more quality games. They have one Super Smash Bros. game per console which shouldn't be a "rule". Popular games on the PS3 like Call of Duty were made twice (COD4 and COD5) so why can't Nintendo do the same?

im not surprised at that........there were only a few good games and the rest wasw for the casual......i did play ssbb a lot, but the 360 kept me engaged with R6V2, COD4, and F3......i played fallout more then any other game......i will play the wii more in 2009.....i have to catch up on games such as okami......waiting for the conduit will be the most challenging and by far the best looking game on wii considering the 2 new vids out as of 1-21-09

i dont recall nintendo putting out a crap load of party games.....they License them because the have to......its the same as microsoft licensing GOW or COD or SBSP.....they have to license it so the companies can put it on there system......if the company says no then they could lose money for future projects

It would be interesting if PC games were included in these stats. Myself, I'm personally glad that there are different system choices. Nintendo can't always have a Monopoly on video games. Back when NES was out, there was hardly any competition. I only knew like, 3.5 people who owned the Sega Master System. Then came the SNES vs. Genesis event. That was competition and some great games came out of that time period. One last time, I'd like to point out that Nintendo isn't the only company to blame. Almost every game Nintendo releases gets pretty good support (yes, i Know: Wii Music), it's the other developers that are to blame for shovelware. Of course, Nintendo could screen software a little more, but I like the fact that there's a chance for any company to make games, it's enterprising. Anyhow, here's to Nintendo trying to make us all happy!

do you know if the game cube numbers include gamecube played on the wii? I have friends who play old gc games they didn'y complete on their wii rather than on the gc.

To tell the truth Nintendo could make a 2nd version of the wii just like PS3 and Xbox 360 each with their own amount of MB memories. The only features I think Nintendo should make for the 2nd wii version is:

Come with WiiSports channel
Come with WiiMusic channel
Add more Mii games
Build better online with no friendcodes
download wii demos
come with 5 free wii demos
50 MB memory
strong motional controls for the wii menu instead of being far away from the tv and got to move the controller a little bit. Because really when I want to play a console I like to laid down because I so lazy to get up just to move the wii controller.
Wiimote- sizes: 1in. wide and 10in. height.

Really the wii should had been did that. But still the DS and DSi is better than the PS1, PS2, and PSP series. But the Wii could be a update.
