Nintendo registers several interesting patents - 01-21-09

Apparently Nintendo is a patent-happy company, registering a staggering amount of 17 patents! Of these 17 patents, 11 are Pokemon related and four are patents for already released Pokemon games. While a Pokemon Gray game is not likely to appear, the DS Directional Sensor Card seems to be a more...

Before when the GBA was top dog, there wasn't much competition. Now Pokemon can easily be replaced by many games. Personally, I would like a new Handheld Animal Crossing. AC seems better fit for a hand held.

Im not sure it could just be a gag (Pictocgrams are stuff like chiniese letters or hirogliphfs so most likely my first guess could be wrong)

gems are considered rocks...

but seriously... enough of the pokemon! it wasnt fun to begin with and i doubt its fun now

on the topic of scarlet and crimson... both of those are used to describe the color of blood...i wonder what they could be doing with names like that? or are they just disregarding popular associations of those colors

Re: Nintendo registers several interesting patents

the reason that the old game are on there is probably because there patents expired and they needed to renew them, as for the other name...I have no idea...I thought Pokemon was done since Arceus was created, but I guess with like where Deoxys came from, there may be different planets filled with different pokemon! Who knows :p

Re: Nintendo registers several interesting patents

After reading your article making Pokemon Black, Brown, White, Gray, Purple, and Scarlet sound like the stupid and pointless titles. It sound like a complete fanmade weak titles. Really Nintendo need to change pokemon series into something else. Because I play Pokemon Ranger 2:Shadows of Almia before and it got updated because of the quests and capture styler`s new abilities. So Nintendo could like add quests, and of course add 6 moves to the max instead of keeping only 4 moves in total because there are over 340 moves and you can only have 4 moves in total. It Nintendo announce Pokemon RedCrimson then it should be a fantasy-like game.

Blimey. That took a while. Gather 'round people! This is a rare case of someone actually putting thought into his/her post instead of randomly slamming the keyboard until you accidentally hit enter and finish that post of verbal excretion. :P I mean, seriously people. It's not that difficult.

If you would've read the topic you would've come to the same conclusion as this guy.
