Talk about not letting an old fad die fast. Nintendo are determined to get all they can out of
Wii Fit by introducing a brand new
Wii Channel that will launch in Japan during April this year. The channel has simply been dubbed the
"Wii Fit Check-Up Channel".
Apparently, the Channel will use the
Wii Balance Board and even the
DS Pedometer accessory to help give you health advice and suggest a bunch of ways you can make yourself look more attractive. NEC's mobile phone health platform will also be compatible with this, allowing for you to get health advice and progress while you're on the go.
Are Nintendo beating a dead horse or are they just convinced that everyone who owns their console is a blubbering lard butt? Either way, shame on you all. No plans for releasing this Channel outside of Japan is known.
