Lawsuits and Nintendo go together like Playstation 3 and low sales. Also yes, that IS the best I could do. Nintendo may be facing yet another lawsuit focusing this time around their
Wii Fit video game. Fitness instructor Michael Torchia recently sat down and played
Wii Fit and according to him, the game does the exact opposite as what Nintendo
intended. Torchia claims that
Wii Fit gives people the impression that they will become fit if they play the game for 20 minutes a day without doing any real exercise, and as such, plans to file a lawsuit agains't the Japan-based company.

If what Torchia says is true, there is a good chance that Nintendo will be required to either remove
Wii Fit from store shelves or.... dare I say it.... place warning labels on the game box stating that the game will not make you fit. Shigeru Miyamoto has actually said in the past (a year ago today according to the article) that
Wii Fit's intention isn't to make you fit, but make you aware of your body.

That's why we wanted people to talk with their families about Wii Fit, and become aware of these things together as a group. If you're standing still, and it tells you 'Your body is swaying', you can see on the training results screen that your body has been shaking. But I think you'd never realize that your body is shaking in day-to-day life. I think becoming aware of things like this about yourself is quite interesting.

If that's the case, then maybe Nintendo shouldn't have called the game
Wii FIT.
