Nintendo still making them octagon shaped analog sticks they cause me so much trouble. I'll buy a controller the has round ones. I don't see why people's complaining about this that is a gamecube controller stuck on top of a classic controller.

Haha yeah pretty much.
Nintedo really needs new ideas, stop just re-making old stuff.

Re: Classic Controller PRO: No plans for outside of Japan.

It's import time kiddies!

Actually controllers and accessories are very easy to import and require no setups and no mods of any kind to work on US consoles. Heck I even have a JP Pocketstation that works on my US copy of Final Fantasy 8.

Also if you want another example...well there were actually players who had Dual Shock 3 controllers working with US PS3 systems long before they actually hit store shelves here...

Was there really a need for this controller? Is nintendo trying to compete in hardcore gaming? The controller is alright but nothing fancy, all they did was add a handel part. Yes it will improve proformance but was it reall nesscerary? Are they going to make games which will only require the classic crontroller pro?

They also moved the shoulder buttons to where it's easier to use them. I suspect that the controller is for Punch Out!! and Monster Hunter 3 but I don't know. And no they aren't going to release any games that require the classic controller PRO. That would be like sony making you buy the dual shock 3.
