Wii/DSi Shop update June 26th [PAL]

Several new games have been added to Nintendo’s already large collection. Two WiiWare games, a Virtual Console title, one for Virtual Console Arcade and one for DSiWare were added.

WiiWare

PUZZLE BOBBLE Plus! - 800 Points
This is basically the original Puzzle Bobble with some additional new content. PUZZLE BOBBLE Plus! is a puzzle game in which you have to shoot groups of identically colored bubbles to clear the stage. There are two modes in which you can play the game. In 1P Puzzle you’ll be challenged to clear 135 stages for a high score and fast clearing time. In Battle mode you can play against friends or an AI controlled rival. You can buy 270 extra stages in the form of two separate packs.
Water Warfare - 800 Points
This game is a first-person ‘soaker’. Actual guns have been replaced with water powered counterparts. Some of the weapons available are the rocket launcher, sniper, machine gun and, of course, water balloons. Stages are generated automatically so you’ll have to apply different strategies to gain the upper hand. Water Warfare can be played in solo mode, as well as a split screen versus mode for two players. The game’s best feature is its online mode in which you can battle up to 7 other players in a more watery variant of a ‘death’ match. You’re scores will be kept on an online leaderboard.

Virtual Console

SimEarth: The Living Planet - 800 Points
In this creation of Will Wright you’ll have the control over the earth’s environment to improve the living conditions of a species to help them evolve. If you’re a fan of deep sim’s this is the game for you. Changing the environment drastically will only worsen the situation, so you’ll have to make careful and reasoned decisions to ensure the advancement of your species. There are extra planets with even more difficult living conditions for players who enjoy a challenge. SimEarth is a one-player game.

Virtual Console Arcade

Altered Beast - 900 Points
After Zeus has you rise from your grave you’ll be faced with the task of saving Zeus’ daughter Athena from the clutches of the evil god of the underworld Neff. Collect enough Spirit Balls dropped in all stages by three headed wolves to change into an ‘Altered Beast’. Every Altered Beast has its own set of special attacks needed to ultimately defeat Neff and rescue Athena. This game can be played on your own or cooperatively with a friend.

DSiWare

Sudoku 50! For Beginners - 200 Points
The game’s name says it all: 50 Sudoku’s to play on your DSi. Nothing more, nothing less.
A lot of new and diverse games this time. Hopefully we'll see this trend continue in the future of the Wii and DS. Check back next week for more content!

Altered Beast for the mega drive has a better picture qualty and would cost 800 points if they brought it out but since it's an arcade they choose to put it up to 900?

Heck yeah they do! Hopefully it will expand just like the WiiWare. I've seen many other DSiWare games on youtube, but not on the DSiWare....

Yeah! I'm sure getting that Water Warfare game! Seems very fun.
