Good news to all Pokemon fans! The two newest remakes in the Pokemon franchise (Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver) have finally been dated! Only a Japanese release date has been announced so far but the American release should be sometime reasonably soon after. The release date is
September 12th 2009 for Japan, that means the American release date will probably be in time for the Christmas holidays or Q1 or Q2 of 2010. It's also worth mentioning that this game is launching in the 10th anniversary of the original two games in Japan so it may do the same in the US. If so, you can expect a 2010 release.
The game will also include a pedometer which allows you to train your pokemon while moving. Which is a great way to encourage exercise if you ask me.
