Wii Sports Resort was released in Japan just five days ago, and it is already the 3rd Best Selling
Wii Game. The sequel to
Wii Sports is set on a resort island, and features new games such as Archery, Cycling and Swordplay. It is also one of the first games to use the
Wii MotionPlus device, which comes with the game as a bundle.
Wii Sports Resort seems to be very popular in Japan, selling 353,827 copies in just four days. This puts it as the 3rd Best Selling
Wii Game, 2nd being Mario Kart
Wii with 608,000 copies sold and 1st being Super Smash Bros. Brawl with 816,000 copies sold. The game will come out in the West late next month.
