i had my
wii since day 1 and i never bashed it.....reason is that i play third party games while i wait for the first party games. I have madworld and the conduit so im one of those people who actually know that the
wii has good games. Mad world can be beat in 3 hours if you skip all the cutscenes and focus on creatively killing guys to rack up the multiplier.
For instance.......take a couple of signs, a trach can or tire, a bat, and then hit them into an oncoming train or spikes all the way across the lvl.....now that is some big points there......as for the conduit.....i was really hyped about that game. And yes....it did live up to my hype. The first 50 percent of the game sucks but when you hit the last 50 percent the game becomes a all out holly crap fest. Theres fun around every corner. Now while the online chugs/ not lags, with the more people that you play with it is still really well done. It only has a disconnect feel from lack of wiispeak with random people, but still its addicting. i play at least 5 hours a day just online.
So what i think is that people are still recovering from the economy and some big titles on other systems didnt do as well as planned. They still sold good because ninty doesnt have that many HARDCORE gamers on their system as other companies do. I do think The Conduit will still sell more.
edit......and yes i do have a 360 and yes i do buy games like gears, left 4 dead, Fallout 3, etc etc.......but to also my credit.....what im saying is coming from me and my wii60 fanboy self
