Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - announced only this year - is the latest game in the Legend of Zelda series. It's already quite popular, receiving the "Best Handheld Game" award at Gamescom in August. The art style will be similar to that seen in LoZ: Wind Waker and LoZ: Phantom Hourglass, also for the
DS. This time, as the name of the game suggests, Link will be travelling on a steam train. It'll be arriving in December this year.
In an interview with G4TV, Kit Ellis (from Nintendo of America) explained the use of the train in more detail.

As with any Zelda game, exploration is a big part of it and you’re not just going from A to B on the train. You are uncovering secrets, finding new places, and the train you can actually upgrade as you go along. Eventually you’ll even be able to lay your own track and do a bit of exploration that way as well.
