Do the names Shrek or Monsters vs. Aliens mean anything to you? Of course they do. They're well known DreamWorks movies, and it looks like they're getting a makeover for the 3DS. The 3D video service, Nintendo Video for the 3DS is getting a lot of attention this week. With Halloween approaching fast, Nintendo thought it would be good to release “Night of the Living Carrots,” and "The Pig who Cried Werewolf" on Nintendo Video. Many of you would know these as shorts that DreamWorks created featuring characters from Shrek and Monsters vs. Aliens.
The videos will be up for a limited time only so get on them quick. "The Pig who Cried Werewolf" will be six minutes long, while "Night of the Living Carrots" will be cut into two smaller bits from it's thirteen minute running time for easy, quick download.
Nintendo of America's Senior Director Tony Eliston had this to say about the team up of DreamWorks and Nintendo.
"If you look at the success that DreamWorks has had at the box office, it’s obvious 3D and animation work really well together. We have something pretty special on our hands here with these 3D shorts."
Keep an eye out for these shorts in the near future.
