Nintendo Banning AR Pokemon? - 06-09-07

If this rumor is true, than Nintendo is taking their Pokemon very seriously. Word has it that anyone using a specific set of Action Replay codes with Pokemon Diamond/Pearl will be banned from online play. The codes in question are…

Yeah, something really needs to be done about hacking on NWC. It would be nice to see Nintendo taking some steps for once...

Well this is a good and bad thing. Because yeah it keeps you from playing people with stats of 999, but what if somebody used it once or twice to get something they wanted but couldn't find. Or even did trades to get what they want. Besides, those codes don't really seem to have anything to do with the battling, just getting all of them pokemon and making them shiny. :confused:

Besides, i was sure that you could only play people if you have their friendcode. ....So at least some of the time you're going to have some idea if they hack or not

i think they should , my team is full of lv. 100 but i imported them all and half the people i battle with say i used action replay

seriously, why pokemon? the wifi isnt even that fun... they should do that with mph,mkds,and sfc.
then i would play those games again

In my point of view, it should not matter. Why? well it is just pokemon. BUT!
you should be able to hack the pokemon but just not the stats!

If you can offer proof that this has happened I will gladly admit your right, but until then I seriously doubt it.

Also, of course its a good idea to ban hackers - but I'm not sure how feasible it is, whats the source for this?

Pokemon hacking spoils the game for everyone, just like ACWW hacking did.

You don't get it you can't stop it and nither can nintendo there is already an unban hack there is nothing you can do,like mph I suggest you play with your most trusted friends.

I think thats good and im glad they did it.
Why?
Cause you can spend alot of time training you pokemon and when you go online with it, you find out guys that just entered a cheat and can win way too easy.
Its just not fair.

Thats good because i think they do that on pokemon coloseum. Like for the action replay pokemon they get rid of. but heres my question why do ppl use ar and how do they get the codes did the people who created the game make the codes? And i am getting kinda mad somebody venusaur knew flamethrower. and he had all shinys. making me mad and jealous. U dont need an ar because u can trade for all the pokemon them hatch them in an egg. thats the best way. Now pokemon shouldnt be banned if there gotten fair on the game just only if u recieved them off an ar. my pokemon are really strong but i traded them to my cuz after i ev train. he makes them even stronger. and i beat several ar users with those pokemon. If u dont want them to use an ar try to put an ar blocker on the game or somthing. they need to do that for the next one. Then people just use the ar and make the game boring.

Its about time!

I don't use Action Replay, myself... and I don't enjoy playing people who use A/R... because they'll own me.

Some guy that I met on FWC had a team full of legendaries, that consisted of ALL shiny lvl 100s. My Pok╤mon were terrible at the time... so, I had absolutely NO chance...
Ever since then, I've only played people I know. (and gym challengers, of course)

I'm really surprised Nintendo hasn't laid a lawsuit on Datel or something...

PS: Why aren't modz allowed to close FWC games? I always see FWC games that are about traded hacked Arceus'... Augg..
