One of Nintendo’s biggest supportive companies EA games has announced that they have developed a new “family Play” feature for some of their games on the Nintendo
Wii. Family play is said to help make games a lot easier to play. The company says that games like: Madden NFL 08, NBA Live 08, and FIFA 08 will be easier to play for the whole family because the controls will be simpler if you’re on family play mode.
The game will let you choose if you want to use family play (which is basically very simple controls) or if you want to play other modes that are designed for experienced gamers. Sounds to me like it’s a good way to attract new and hardcore gamers to the company’s games.
“The company added that
Wii Remote will control movements like shooting, passing, and throwing, while the Nunchuk will be key in fine tuning these moves.
If the gamer does not have the Nunchuk, the game would take care of these advance controls.”
Another extremely interesting thing that EA is doing is adding mii’s in FIFA 0. You can ship your Mii’s right from the plaza and onto the sports field. That means that Nintendo is FINALLY going to let other developers use Mii’s in games. Because before now it seems like they were keeping them for themselves.
