Mindscape gets in on the Nintendo DS action
Mindscape has announced that it'll be getting in on the Nintendo DS action later this year, with five games headed Down Under during November.
MTV Fan Attack will put you in the boots of a rockstar, who you're able to fully customise, and your life will turn to complete hell as you rise to fame and get harassed by fans and the paparazzi alike. You'll travel everywhere from Paris to Tokyo, destroying your hotel room, seducing your fans, creating chaos and taking part in mini-games through 28 different challenges.
Deal of No Deal, of course, is a handheld rendition of the TV game show, but thanks to the addition of statistics and the like, the experience will become more strategic and skill-based. Multiplayer gaming will be on offer, and in a unique - but much less rewarding - twist to the show, you'll be able to play for tasks like washing the dishes or walking the dog, rather than winning money.
Crazy Pig is thankfully unrelated to that dreadful frog, and it's more like Nintendogs meets Babe. You'll take care of your own piglet, and like Nintendo's dog simulator, you'll have to feed your new friend, bathe them, dress them up, and put them through their paces in a handful of mini-games. Wi-Fi connectivity will allow you to trade items your piglet's won on the farm with friends.
Wild Horses will have you follow the adventures of Lisa, a young and passionate horse lover who's in search of the mythical 'Akhal Tekke' horse. You'll choose your own horse, and embark on an adventure around the world, in search of the lost animal. A variety of races and mini-games will be on offer, and two players will be able to connect via Wi-Fi to race against each other, or to travel co-operatively in certain surroundings.
And lastly, Pet Pals Animal Doctor will have you test your skills in a fun and realistic vet simulation. Just like Trauma Centre, you'll make use of medical tools, but you'll be treating the animal life rather than your fellow humans. More than 35 pets will be counting on your expertise, and they'll be suffering everything from broken bones to life-threatening illnesses.
MTV Fan Attack will retail for $59.95, while the other four games will sell for $49.95.

NinBoy's Thoughts: I got one thing to say, not interested. I guess they're trying to design a game for children but I don't know what they're thinking...To me, these games don't look like they're going to be turning out to well, but who knows...Maybe its the next Sims.
