I welcome you to the fourth Smash Weekly written by NinBoy, a news staff writer of Friendcodes.
I apologize for the inconvenience, of us skipping last week's updates with the Smash Weekly. Our staff have been very busy but I assure you, this will never happen again.
As some of you may know, this is a relatively new addition of Friendcodes.com that is aimed to sum up all the Super Smash Bro updates from this week in just one article instead of a clutter of them. So please sit back and enjoy this week's sum up.
This week we've had some fantastic updates varying from new characters being released to a few new stages and more! Read on to discover more details on one of the most anticipated games of the year!
Munchlax - September 10, 2007
As most of you Pokemon fans know, Munchlax is the pre-evolved form of Snorlax. It roams around freely, yet slowly, and is very carefree. It's somewhat over weight and really doesn't do much unless it senses any type of food, or for that matter, anything edible.
Any item visible by Munchlax, in Brawl, will be eaten and stored away by him. And good luck stopping him. ;)
Lyndis - September 11, 2007
Lyn, a young girl from the Sacae plains, makes a guest appearance in Brawl from the Game Boy Advance game, Fire Emblem.
Lyn descends gallantly and wields a, somewhat like, classical Japanese sword.
She crouches and builds up power, vanishes for a split second, and slashes the enemy with a completely smashing blow! You'll be helplessly cut if you suffer from the solid blow of this attack!
Battleship Halberd - September 12, 2007
After all this time, it has finally arrived! It's Metaknight's ship!
This stage begins in a hangar on the high seas. The platform follows the Halberd as it departs and you'll eventually land on the ship's deck.
Don't go near the double barreled battery though. It launches beams and missiles and attacks with it's arm. This is very powerful and making contact with this will be very effective towards your energy level. The arm is also very destructive to anyone hit by it.
"The Battleship Halberd appears not only in multi-player Brawl stages, but also plays a very important role in The Subspace Emissary. That role is something you’ll have to look forward to," says Nintendo.
Special Brawl - September 13, 2007
You may ask what Special Brawl is. This mode lets you apply different settings to apply what you like in a game. You can completely customize the match to fit your likings and play!
You can apply a variety of different settings and modes on Special Brawl.
Before, you could only select one, like Giant Melee, so this is a huge, yet great, update towards this gaming series.
I suggest you try out all the characteristics in the mode to see what you prefer.
Ice Climbers - September 14, 2007
The one in blue is Popo. The one in pink is Nana. And the two of them make a fantastic team towards any other Brawler in Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Both of their advantages and disadvantages really combine and equal out to create a killer double team.
They move as a pair, and protect each-other as needed. Nana automatically follows along side of Popo and fights until the end.
So be looking forward to them because they're going to be a fantastic killer team with a variety of different combos!
