Halo DS just a modded version of Goldeneye: Rouge Agent?
Well a video on YouTube has been surfing the web and now it's a known hit. Yesterday, Matt Casamassina and Mark Bozon posted videos of playing Halo DS. Surely it was awesome, but could it be a modded version of the game Golden Eye: Rouge Agent published by EA.

The explosions looked similar, the gun shots looked similar, and so did the control menu on the touch screen. Look for yourselves!

Well personally, I think that Matt Casamassina and Mark Bozon would never make a fake game to look like Halo DS to make people believe in that. But that video makes me change my mind a little. I still don't know who to believe. What do you guys think?

Clearly Microsoft (X Box) wouldn't let Nintendo have the right to put their best selling game Halo on a Nintendo system. I could see Goldeneye coming out on the DS though.

Yeah. Here is a rumored explanation of why it is like that:

EA (the publisher of Rouge Agent) used the same engine as Rouge Agent for Halo DS just as a sort of demo. They showed it to Microsoft, and, of course, they turned it down. So right then development stopped, and they had no need to create a Halo DS engine.

I'm skeptical myself. I'll just sit back and watch the whole thing unfold. :cool:

I'm 100% sure the video itself is legit though, even if the actual game is not. But, would Matt have the knowledge and the source code of Rouge Agent (2 things he would need) to skin/redo the game to make it look like that? I REALLY doubt it. =|

looks like it but if there was some work behind it like Metroid Prime Hunters I bet It would be good to bad it wasn't allowed out.

lol, i didn't believe it was real to begin with. They didn't even show that cart or a case or anything

It would be in a blank cart. It's an early alpha or something, not an actual game. Same goes with the case. =|
