Hello darling and welcome to the new and slightly improved Smash Weekly. I have taken it upon myself to bring this back to
FC so no one misses out on what's going down in the Smash Dojo. Smash Weekly has been inactive for the last few weeks as many of you may have noticed, but we are now making an effort to bring it back with a different member of the News Team publishing it every week. So anyway I will be the one in charge this week, lets see what the Smash Dojo revealed to us this week.
Now i must admit when I saw this on the Dojo my first reaction was "We can use PictoChat over the Wi-Fi Connection?" But later I discovered that it is actually a level, a very unique one at that.
At first, everything is flat and boring....
But with a wave of the stylus, stuff begins to appear.
This level put simply could be considered a cross between Flat Zone and Poke Floats from Melee.
A storms a brewing by the looks of it.
Some things in the background can effect you, like the storm cloud and the badly drawn fire.
It burns.... but why o.0?
But it ain't all pain, some fun little thing can happen aswell.
Sweeeeeeeet!!
Also we are aware of the game mode that allows us to pick which music we want to listen to when we play the games right?
You can enjoy the Wii Shop Channel and Mii Channel music in this stage, aswell as a new Pictochat tune.

Well this one is a pretty easy one actually, this update was a video update showing Donkey Kong's introduction to the Subspace Emissary. May contain spoilers but if you don't care, Click
HERE to go watch it.
Returning for the third time in the series is the famous Target Smash game, only this time it's a tad different.
First of all, the Target Smash is now outside :D.
Yes, each stage is now surrounded by a detailed world. A nice fresh change from the predecessors.
Ahh, so beautiful.
Also rather than character specific puzzles, there are only 5 of differing difficulty that you can take on with any character.
Wow..... this is HUGE.
Included in this update was also the revealing of a new feature known a
Replay Recording.
So you smashed Sonic with Wario? Now you can prove it to your mates :D
Unfortunatly you can only record up to 3 minutes of video data. Whether or not this was limited to 3 minutes worth of video or you can only record individual videos for up to 3 minutes was not specified.
But seeing as how you can send them to
Wii Friends over the Wi-Fi Connection, it doesn't seem likely.
Now whether or not anyone here remembers me saying this I am 100% positive I did. With the revelation of Meta Knight, King Dedede would also be making the Brawl.
MUHAHAHA, FEAR MEEEE.
Yes, Kirby's fat rival and self proclaimed King of Dream Land, King Dedede will be bringing his big bad self to the Brawl and with him a very large hammer.
He could give Bowser a run for his money.
As you can expect, he's a heavy class character so he'll be hard to defeat unless you beat him up alot before you try to finish him.
Sorry Bowser, theres a new sheriff in town.
Does Kirby.... let alone.. Meta Knight... have some tough competition now?
Answer: Probably.
We just got King Dedede, so it only makes sense to give us some special moves to look at.
WOW, THAT IS HIGH.
This is his Up Special Move. As any Kirby veteran would know, King Dedede is a mean jump and this game catches this fact to the finest detail.
KABAAANG.
He lands with a BANG. If you land near anyone you will sure cause some serious damage to them. However, after he lands he will be vulnerable for a minute.
If you choose to cancel this move in mid jump you can, however do it too close to the ground and you will mess up the landing making yourself even more vulnerable than if you had just fallen normally.
OH CRAP.
King Dedede's Side Special Move is the Waddle Dee throw.
After a Waddle Dee is out there, they will roam around the stage.
Sometimes Waddle Doo will appear instead.
Even the spiky fella Gordo.
His Down Special Move is his hammer.... only it's not his hammer its his new and improved Jet Hammer.
Locked and loaded baby!
This seems to work similar to that of Samus' Charge Beam. You can charge it up and walk around with it while it's charged.
BOOOOOOOM m'kay.
If you charge it too much, you can inflict increasing damage to yourself so be wary when using this.
