Nintendo Australia sure have made a Merry Christmas for a little girl by granting a Christmas wish for her. No I'm afraid the wish wasn't an end to game delays, but rather a wish for a Nintendo
Wii console.
Taylor Smith, an 11-year-old Geelong girl has suffered from a muscle eating disease since birth, and because of it, she has very limited movement in her arms and legs. However according too family friend Tony Watkins, "She always finds a way to do things," and he decided to see if she would be able to find a way to play with his family's
Wii console.
Thanks to the help of four hair ties strapped to Taylor's hand, she was able to hold and swing the
Wii remote as anyone else would. It was then that Tony Watkins wrote too Nintendo Australia in regards to getting this brave little girl a
Wii console.
The request was a success, as Taylor and her siblings received the
Wii console on Christmas Eve, and to say the least, she was very happy.
"This is the first time she has been able to play electric games with her family and it's great to see her smile" Watkins concluded.
