Yes, the game is only a month away for the US and I'm sure all you kiddies are preparing your
Wii consoles for the savage beating they will be enduring for months to come. Since this is such a huge title, it's only natural that rumors such as the existence of a Smash Demo for the
Wii Shop Channel begin to spread. No I'm not talking about a Preview Channel like the one Metroid Prime 3 had, I'm talking about an actual playable demo that you can download to your
Wii.
What this article seems to state is that you can indeed download a demo of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and along with it, you can choose to download specific characters and game modes depending on how much space you want to use. Seeing as how compared to games such as Super Mario Galaxy, which even as a demo would require a lot of space, a few characters and levels for Super Smash Bros. Brawl would only require as much space as a standard N64 game.
I am in no way confirming that this is true, in fact I would be surprised if this actually happened. However, considering that us PAL regions won't be getting this game until April at the earliest, how can I not get my hopes up? If anymore news breaks on this subject, we will keep you all posted.
