Super Smash Bros. Brawl delay OFFICIAL. - 01-15-08

Please read this BEFORE you comment. The game itself is FINISHED. There is NO WAY that Nintendo could be adding new content to the game or fixing up any more bugs because the game is READY for distribution in Japan. Botton line: Nintendo won't be adding anything new to this...

I can't believe people are actually surprised by this. I say, count your blessings, at least you don't have to wait till the 2nd/3rd quarter of the year like me and the rest of Europe/Australia.

But seriously, did you read my entire post? I'll be gone for two years, unable to play the game. I'll be leaving on the 12 of March. I will have two days to play it.

So, I just didn't think it was fair, because I'll be waiting to get my hands on the game for almost a DECADE. While everyone else will be able to prance to the store and say "oh cool a new game!" Lots of the people who buy this game will not be nearly as excited as I was.

Its a real shame, but I have to do this whole "leave for two years" thing.

So. I'll be playing for 48 straight hours come March 9th!!!

That's dumb... Where is it you are going that makes it so you can't play for 2 years? Must be far away...

They release a demo in japan already so I'm guessing we're getting it next month along with the original SM for N64 ;)

The news really ticks me off. I'd rather have no set release date then ones that constantly change. Nintendo seems very unreliable.
