Square-Enix Reason Behind The Dec 3rd Brawl Delay? - 02-01-08
Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out in Japan only yesterday, and already the final roster has been revealed. There is also a rumour floating around about the December 3rd Brawl delay - a copyright issue with Square-Enix.

Supposedly, Geno, a character from a Mario RPG on the SNES was...

why would square they do that? dont use him anymore he has had cameos but geno deserves more he would be awsome in brawl. plus i think he was made by the nintendo staff. he would be emo if square made him. AND THEY CAUSE DELAY SQUARE MUST DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW

I was really hoping geno'd be in too. oh well I guess.
it's still just a rumor that he's the reason for the delay at this point though, right?

For people who thinks Geno wouldn't do good in Brawl, you never played Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars then. He's incredible in that game.

They really needed to get Mallow or Geno up in this game. Seriously. Two Mario characters that have only gotten the spotlight once. They better make a real sequel to that game at some point, not just the spiritual sequels of Paper Mario.

What the heck all my friends in school said they wanted Geno to be in brawl Square Enix I hate you for not putting Geno in Brawl you could have earned some money!!!!

ok, I'm against the delay, but I'm sure that if square enix wasn't getting paid they weren't going to put there character in the game.

If anyone we should be blaming nintendo for not paying them, if copyright issues were the problem, I'm guessing that's the reason for it.

I never did like nintendo, hehehe.
The day they put a black dude in their game I'll earn there respect, but Final Fantasy has Barret. ALSO Sephiroths theme song is inspired by Hendrix, the famous black guitarist cha know. We know they're arn't racist. So I'm going to have to join their side, as the one dude protecting square from you nintendo fan boys that love flaming up news articles just because you're angry for the delay.

It isn't the end of the world, calm down.
